The inGenious Pilot has been launched!

More that 150 teachers from more than 16 countries around Europe have the opportunity to test a number of practices provided by the inGenious industrial partners.

Between February and May 2012, Pilot schools will test a minimum of 2 practices with their classes and provide us with valuable input on the challenges and impact that these practices have on their teaching and students.

During this timeframe, Teachers and their students will also have the opportunity to participate to different Communities of Practice (CoPs) focusing on STEM related issues, online chats and workshops to take place around Europe.

inGenious aims at increasing young Europeans' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) education and careers, addressing two challenges: lack of interest in these subjects and the future skills gap.

All the actions undertaken in inGenious ensure that education / industry cooperation initiatives improve the image of STEM careers among young people and encourage them to think about the wide range of interesting opportunities that STEM can bring to their lives in the future.

If you are interested in bringing some of these practices to your classroom and/or participate to our online activities, please go to the teacher community or contact Evita from European Schoolnet.
