EUCYS, the European Union Contest for Young Scientists, is a yearly competition that has been rewarding our talented students since 1989.

On 26 September this year, 130 finalists were judged in the Slovak capital of Bratislava. Winning projects ranged from the abstract to the wholly practical, from the fascination of prime numbers to the new hit in the film-making industry. And to new findings on the relation between average grade at school and your happiness level.
Meet the EUCYS 2012 winners.
