Nuria Oliver, User and Media Intelligence Scientific Director at Telefonica, is fascinating.

Listen to her talk to inGenious pupils on what machines can and may one day be able to do.

For more than a decade, Telefonica has run it's Educared competition which has been created for teachers and students from all over the world with one main objective: to introduce ICT efficiently in the educational and learning process. Teachers can take part in the competition by creating projects choosing among a variety of tools: web, blogs, wiki’s, Web Quest, even projects made on social media and cloud computing tools like Google Earth, Scribble Maps, Prezzi, Speaking Image etc. The most important thing is to demonstrate the acquisition of new skills and ways to use ICT as a teaching tool across the education process.

Winners will not only gain experience and knowledge while creating their project, but they will also be invited to the VII International Education Meeting 2012 in Lima (Peru), where a prize giving ceremony will take place.  Extended deadline: 3 July 2012
